Colourful creations can claim cash
Schools in the South West have the opportunity to win $10,000 by getting crafty and entering a Rainbow Loom competition.
Spotlight is encouraging children around Australia to create a loom band masterpiece, with participants able to receive free Rainbow Loom vouchers on its Facebook page.
Spotlight communications manager Eva Daly said vouchers had already been redeemed in the Bunbury store and they were looking forward to seeing the entries.
“We know how much Australian children have loved and embraced Rainbow Looms and we also know how great art and craft is for their developing brains,” she said.
“So we came up with this idea to inspire them to show off their very best creation.”
Entries close on June 30 and can be submitted by sharing a photograph of the Rainbow Loom creation on Spotlight’s Facebook page or Instagram using the hashtag winacraftroom and tag spotlightstores account.
“Giving the winning school an opportunity to get a craft room makeover is something that will benefit children of all ages,” Ms Daly said.
