Dentist Daniel Tham has been rewarded for leaving his customers with not only perfect teeth, but a great grin after their visits.

Dr Tham was awarded theSouth Western Times WOW Customer Service Award at this year’s South West Small Business Awards.

The owner and principal dentist at Eversmile Dental, has been working out of the Brecken Health building for the past two years, where he has become known for his quality customer service and excellent dental work.

Dr Tham said the award showed the business was valued by its customers.

“It means we are looking after our customers right from the time they enter the building to the time they leave from their dental treatment,” Dr Tham said.

“We got the award because of a couple of really kind, wonderful customers who reviewed us and nominated us.”

Dr Tham said he and his staff try to listen intently to customers’ needs.

“We try to do everything as gently as we can,” he said.

“Even though it is an industry which generates a bit of pain and discomfort.

“We offer them (the customer) a friendly and relaxed venue to have their dental work done.

“The ladies at the front desk are also very efficient and smooth at getting their job done.”

Mr Tham joked that despite people not liking dentists, most of his customers enjoyed their experience at Eversmile.

“In an industry which has the connotation of fear, pain and anxiety, we try to reverse it,” he said.

“We point them to the results and the big bright smile they get afterwards.
