Free Henry Roy — Impossible Island Today to May 18, 2025, Opening event today at 5.30pm, Art Gallery of WA, Perth Works by Franco-Haitian photographer Henry Roy are being showcased at AGWA in the coming months, the artist’s first ever survey. The exhibition draws on 40 years of work, bringing together 113 photos, taken between 1983 and 2023. The places photographed range from Haiti, Ibiza, Paris, Dakar, Cameroon, Normandy, Marrakesh, Thailand and the Ivory Coast. Roy will be at the opening tonight and will discuss his work with managing curator Robert Cook and then sign copies of his new book which has been published in conjunction with the exhibition.
