Two on mushroom charge

Donnybrook police have charged two men for possessing nearly 1kg of hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Two 20-year-old men from Mandurah were charged last week after police searched their car in Balingup and allegedly found 953g of the freshly-picked illegal mushrooms.

Sen. Const.Becky Breedveld said police also charged the two men with possession of a smoking implement and possession of cannabis.

The pair are due to face Donnybrook Magistrate’s Court on September5.
