Bunbury detectives have released a composite image of a man they believe could help in their investigation of the sexual assault of a child police say happened in a Capel public toilet two years ago.

Police are seeking the public’s help in the search relating to a 2022 incident in which a child was sexually assaulted in the public toilets of the basketball courts on Goodwood Road.

Police said the man was likely wearing a white shirt and black trousers that were dirty and torn.

Detectives believe the man frequents the area around the sporting and golf clubs on Goodwood Road and are urging anyone with information relating to this case or any similar incidents to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
