Police seek public help as they investigate firearms burglary on Great Eastern Highway near Coolgardie

Police are appealing for information to track down two people after firearms were stolen from a property on Great Eastern Highway west of Coolgardie.

Kalgoorlie detectives are investigating an incident on Monday, July 1 when two unknown people broke into a Bullabulling property about 70km west of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

Police said the pair “forced entry” into the property on Great Eastern Highway just west of Coolgardie about 4.50pm.

While there they stole a safe from the wall which contained two firearms before fleeing the scene.

The stolen firearms were a Bentley double barrel side-by-side 12-gauge shotgun and an Anschutz left-hand .22 bolt action repeater rifle.
