A Mid West organisation is looking to shed light on men’s mental health ahead of International Men’s Day next week.

Centacare’s Men’s Hub and the Hub Cap program have joined forces to deliver two events focusing on mental wellbeing.

The main event will take place on Wednesday November 20, when Cut Throat Conversations takes place at the Batavia Coast Conference Centre at The Gerald from 6pm.

The panel will be headlined by former AFL footballer and coach Danielle Laidley, with entrepreneur Brenton Wellington and public speaker Danny Shannon also sharing their stories on Wednesday evening.

Tickets are $15 and are available via Humanitix.

On Tuesday November 19 — International Men’s Day — the Men’s Hub at 156 Durlacher Street aims to focus on the challenges men face in navigating mental wellbeing with its free opening event from 5.30pm.

Billie Wilkins will discuss the role men have to play in preventing violence against women, while Jordan James will speak about his journey with mental health.
