Great show for Great Bike riders

Three days into the nine-day 560km West Australian Great Bike Ride, Bunbury’s Sharna Farquhar is living the dream.

Sharna is among more than 1200 cyclists participating in the scenic adventure holiday and said the region was putting on a memorable show.

“We are sitting on Prevelly Beach in Margaret River and WA is looking stunning,’’ she said.

“We have the day off today and couldn’t hope for better weather.’

‘’Just to see the camaraderie on the road is wonderful, and even though WA is really dry at the moment, the countryside we are travelling through is breathtaking.’’

The 1250 cyclists will finish the West Australian Regional Newspapers sponsored-event when they roll into Manjimup on March 27.
