Andrews’ life on stage

South Western Times

The life of talented actress and singer Dame Julie Andrews will be the focus of the next Morning Melodies show at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.

Songbird Alinta Carroll is joined by musician and comedian Craig Skelton for My Favourite Things —the unexpected Julie Andrews.

Dame Julie Andrews made her way from London to Broadway to Hollywood and back again with one of the world’s most memorable voices.

Her stage shows and films have provided some of the industry’s biggest blockbusters.

But then there’s also the unknown.

Showing from 11am next Tuesday, the performance will include much-loved numbers from My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins.

A complimentary morning tea will be served from 10am. Tickets cost $25 adults and $20 FOMPAC members.
