Flames Black defeat Lynx by 14 points in Karratha Basketball Association round two clash
Flames Black dominated Northern Spirit Lynx in round two of the Karratha Basketball Association to score a 14-point victory.
The round two clash at the Karratha Leisureplex on October 20 had Flames Black take control from the get-go, dominating the play in the opening half.
Lynx fought back but were unable to match the intensity, with Flames Black eventually downing their opponents 34-20.
Mia Grantham led the way for Flames with nine points, while Indiana Davis and Georgia Lowe both chipped in with six points each.
In the other women’s division one clash, Trouts demolished the Cyclones under 18 side 52-20.
In the men’s division one competition, Trouts proved too strong for Flames Black men, winning 29-18.
A high scoring game between Karratha Kats and Pardoo Katz went down to the wire, with both sides having their moments.
In the end, Karratha Kats came out on top 57-45.
Mayuga Majik defeated Roebourne Magpies 44-38 and in the final game of the round, NSBC Warriors were victorious over Flames Grey 29-21.
