Slammers women no match for Wolves
Joondalup Wolves asserted their dominance early in Saturday night’s women’s match against the Collie Crane Hire South West Slammers and posted a deserved 85-63 point win.
Falling 11-0 down early, the Slammers had trouble defending against a well-drilled Wolves outfit who shot 12-15 from the floor in the first quarter and at better than 50 per cent for the match.
All 10 Wolves players used hit the scoreboard and eight of them did so by quarter time.
