Police have seized thousands of dollars worth of property believed to be stolen from burglaries in the South West.

Australind and Bunbury officers have been at a storage unit on Sweny Drive in Australind since 9am.

Australind Police Station acting officer-in-charge Sen. Sgt Ian Jansen said the officers had found televisions, industrial tools and trailers which were believed to be stolen.

Three Australind residents – a 35-year-old man and a 28-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman – are being questioned by police in connection with the seizure.

Sen. Sgt Jansen said it was suspected the storage units were used to store the property which would then be sold on the internet.

Anyone with information about the stolen items can contact Australind Police on 9797 0222 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
