Bunbury business closes after Facebook campaign
A Bunbury business operating in the CBD for 11 years has closed following a ferocious social media campaign.
The owners of clothing store Flirtatious, located at 106 Victoria Street, posted a sign on their window today announcing the news.
The sign said the business would “like to take the opportunity to thank our long time supportive customers”.
It said it would refund all vouchers that had been purchased from the store.
This comes after a complaint on Facebook about a mother who was told her son could not drink from a bottle because of the store’s no food/drink policy.
This sparked a series of complaints on social media and the creation of an event to protest against its customer service.
The protest was cancelled and many of the negative comments on Facebook have been deleted.
