The City of Bunbury’s executive manager of city services, Michael Scott, has resigned from his position after six years with the council.

Bunbury Mayor David Smith said Mr Scott’s varied background would mean he would be successful in any future endeavours.

‘‘We have enjoyed having Micheal on council and wish him well in the future,’’ Mr Smith said.

Mr Scott has followed in fellow executive officer Ken Weary’s footsteps who resigned earlier this month after their positions were advertised to the public as part of the city’s restructuring.
