Bunbury's finances in the black
The latest report into Bunbury City Council financials show it has received $630,000 more income than was budgeted.
According to a report from finance manager David Ransom, the council was received $47.7 million in income and spent $23.54 million up to January 31.
The council has spent $2.58 million less than was expected in the Budget.
This has resulted in an improvement in the council's financial position and increase in the operating surplus.
The council has received about $50,000 more on property rates.
