Capel fire forces family from home

A Capel family has been forced out of their home after a house fire caused about $300,000 damage yesterday.

It is believed four people were home when the fire started – including small children – and one person was treated for smoke inhalation.

Firefighters from Capel, Bunbury and Busselton battled the blaze following the call out to the West Road home after 3pm.

The fire was under control from about 5pm.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
