Car hits pole, misses house

A car has narrowly missed a house and slammed into a power pole in Carey Park this afternoon.

South West police and Western Power workers are at the scene of the crash on Armanta Drive in Carey Park.

Police believe the driver of the Holden Commodore lost control on the wet road and slammed into the pole.

Fearing that the pole could fall down, Western Power workers are supporting the pole with a crane before the car can be removed.

The driver of the car was not injured in the crash.
