Car set alight in quiet residential Bunbury street
Police are urging witnesses to come forward after a car was set on fire on a residential street in Usher in the early hours of Monday.
A vehicle was parked on the lawn in front of a residential address on Griffin Lane on Sunday evening.
The occupants of the house were woken about 12.20am on Monday after unknown offenders set fire to the vehicle.
No one was injured in the incident, and there was no damage to the house or carport.
Police are treating the act of arson as an isolated incident, with no links to any other recent incidents.
South West District superintendent Geoff Stewart said some CCTV footage had already been provided, but any more footage would help with investigations.
“We have some (CCTV), we want more,” he said.
“We also want anyone with dash cam from the area to come forward too.”
Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
