Collie lotto win unclaimed
Collie Newsagency has sold a Division 1 winning Saturday Lotto ticket worth $825,511 but the money is yet to be claimed.
The town is no stranger to big lotto wins after Reuben’s News in Collie sold a $1.2 million ticket last year.
In 2010 the same outlet sold two Division 1 winning tickets in two weeks - a ticket worth $666,666 on February 27 and a $571,428 ticket on March 13.
Reuben's News and Collie Newsagency owner Peter Reuben said Collie was a “lucky town”.
“The community always get so excited and happy when we have a local win,” he said.
“This is where it all happens when it comes to Lotto.”
Collie has received six Lotterywest grants worth a combined $203,700 since 2010.
This includes a $4,171 grant given to the Collie Country Music Club earlier this year.
Lotterywest said it was waiting for the winner to come forward.
