Council swings the changes
The Bunbury City Council will open its doors for public briefings and cut committee meetings as part of changes to its meetings calendar.
Briefing sessions, previously held behind closed doors, will be followed the next week by full council meetings, where final decisions on agenda items are made.
Council meetings will now start at 5.30pm, after the councillor premeeting dinners were scrapped.
The public is also asked to submit any questions to the council in writing before meetings begin.
