Cricketing royalty now back on tour
A select group of Warren Blackwood Cricket Association players will take on some of the best cricketers of the past when the Australian Cricketers’ Association Masters team comes to Manjimup as part of a three-day tour.
The Warren Blackwood Cricket Association will play the Masters side which includes former State and international players, Brad Hogg, Greg Matthews, Jenny Wallace, Jo Angel, Travis Birt, Murray Goodwin, Tom Hogan, Simon Katich, Tom Moody, Bruce Reid and Nicky Shaw in a Twenty20 match tomorrow at Collier Street cricket grounds from 3.30pm.
The Australian Cricketers’ Association Masters Tour will be in Manjimup from today until Saturday, with the limited overs match the highlight of the proceedings.
A representative XI from Margaret River will then play a Twenty20 game on Sunday at Gloucester Park from 2pm.
The tour will also include coaching clinics, community visits and a sporting function.
