Cruise ships back on the agenda

MITCHELL WOODCOCKSouth Western Times

Bunbury will host a cruise ship for the first time since February 2012 when the Astor docks next month as a part of a tourism bonanza for city.

On December 19 the 176m Bahama cruise ship will dock for seven hours at the port before moving on to its next destination in Fremantle.

As of today six cruise ships are scheduled to dock at Bunbury port from December this year until March 2015.

This comes after more than a year’s hiatus of any of the luxury ships being docked in the port.
