Since entering the talent quest as a solo performer on January 16 in Bunbury, the singer and dancer was moved into a boy band with two other performers.

Although the band is yet to be named, they have been allocated mentor Dannii Minogue to prepare them for the live performances, to be aired on Sunday night at 6.30pm on Seven/GWN7.

The 16-year-old said he hoped to perform hip-hop style songs.

“It’s just funky, fun and energetic and allows you to bring that comedy effect into it, ” he said.

He is hoping his time in the limelight will kick start an international career in show business.
