Different look at Death in Mort (gallery)

South Western Times

A crowd packed Bunbury Entertainment Centre on Friday night to see Death take a holiday in Naked Villainy’s production of Terry Pratchett’s Mort.

Check out our gallery from the show.

The cast included actors aged from their teens and a puppet made by Spare Parts Puppet Theatre to portray Death.

Director Sharon Kennedy was delighted by the opportunity to stage a Pratchett play in the new Cube Theatre at BREC, and thanked staff and management of BREC their support.

She was also very grateful for the support given by the BREC Club, who gave the group financial assistance to perform the play. Without their help it would have been very difficult to stage the play at the Cube.

The story follows Mort who is hired to give Death a holiday.
