The Diggers Club of WA is holding a memorial to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan this morning at the Waterloo Hall.

Vietnam War veterans are in attendance to remember the significant day where 105 Australians fought against an enemy of 2500 Vietnamese troops.

Eighteen Australian lives were lost and 24 were injured in the battle.
