Doug's back where it all began
Doug Black has come full circle and is excited by the opportunities which lie ahead at the South Western Times.
Mr Black has returned to the role he established a strong base for at the Times 25 years ago, working with advertising clients for the motoring and real estate liftouts to make sure they get the best exposure possible.
Mr Black has plenty of experience in the sales game, working at the Times for 12 years, GWN7 for 11 years, Dale Alcock Homes for three years as well as establishing his own business Carpet Court, before deciding to return to his roots and work for the region's biggest newspaper.
Mr Black said he had plenty of experience in the sales game.
"I have seen it from all sides from retail to the sales," he said.
"I know what it's all about."
The Times' real estate liftout features a diverse range of properties each week, while the wheels section has everything from quality used cars to the newest models from dozens of brands.
Mr Black said property and car-related businesses in the South West should advertise in the South Western Times to really benefit their business.
"By advertising in the Wheels liftout advertisers can access our huge reach and readership throughout the South West," he said.
"Real estate advertisers can take advantage of the real estate liftout, which has excellent readership in Bunbury and the surrounding areas."
