Drivers reminded 'M8 the call can W8'

The City of Bunbury and Dardanup RoadWise committees will work together on a campaign to warn motorists about the dangers of distracted drivers.

Although the initiative will not be officially launched until next week, it is a timely reminder with an increased number of drivers expected on the roads this Queen’s birthday long weekend.

Bumper stickers with the slogan ‘M8 the call can W8’ have been created to remind drivers of the dangers.

Illuminated signs will also spread the message to road users.

The campaign will be launched next week and has the support of police and the Office for Road Safety.
