An Eaton woman is $100,000 richer after claiming the top prize on a Scratch ‘n’ Win ticket.

The woman is a regular player, usually buying a few scratchies before work, and has previously won a Division 2 lotto prize and multiple $1000 scratchie prizes.

Despite this previous success, she did not believe it when scanning the ticket’s barcode and being told she had won big.

“When I scanned my ticket and it said I’d won $100,000 I thought ‘no, it can’t be’ so I continued on my way to work,” the woman said.

“When I went back to the ticket it was still saying I’d won.

I took a photo of the ticket checker and called my mum straight away.”

The winner intends to pay off her car loan and also said the money would provide a boost towards owning her own home.

The winning ticket was a $20 Diamond Spectacular bought from newsXpress Bunbury Forum.
