Almost 1000 people attended the Graham Bricknell Memorial Shell today to protest State Government cuts to education.

Busselton rallies for education staff

Teachers, school staff, parents and students attended the event to hear speakers from the State School Teachers Union, United Voice and Community and Public Sector Union.

The rally was held with others across State including the biggest held at Langley Park in Perth.

Union leaders claim the State Government has cut $180 million from the education budget and it is having a major impact on WA public schools.

The unions called for State Government action before the State Budget later this year.
