Fire threatens homes, lives

Residents in the Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup have been told to evacuate their homes as a fire threats lives and homes.

A bushfire emergency warning has been issued for people north-west of Ellis Creek plantation in the area north, east, south and west of the Nannup-Balingup Road from Wrights Bridge, east of Cundinup Road, south of the Cundinup-Kirup Road and north of Agg Road in the Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup.

People are in danger and need to act immediately to survive.

There is a threat to lives and homes.

Residents have been advised to evacuate if possible or prepare to actively defend your home.

They are advised to leave in a northerly direction away from the blaze.
