The Bulldogs finals chances may have slipped away after their inaccuracy played a massive part in their loss to Carey Park.

Accuracy was poor throughout for both sides but Carey Park ultimately prevailed to win - their sixth win in a row.

South Bunbury 23.16 (154) def Collie 4.9 (33)

Hard-running South Bunbury on-baller Ryan Mackenzie was the catalyst behind his team's 121-point thumping of the Collie Eagles at Hands Oval on Sunday.

Mackenzie did as he pleased as he constantly broke the lines to put the Tigers on course for a massive win.

The youthful and inexperienced Eagles didn't have an answer to the ferocity of the Tigers' forward thrusts and before coach Russell Sparks could blink, South Bunbury had rattled on four goals.

Eaton Boomers 8.14 (62) def Harvey Bulls 8.10 (58)

Four valuable premiership points went the way of the Eaton Boomers over the home side, Harvey Bulls on Sunday thanks mainly to a couple of minutes of inspirational football from Chris Atthowe which turned a likely defeat into a four point victory.

The Bulls had led at half time by three points despite the Boomers having most of the play and then by eight points at three quarter time after a burst from their runners.

Busselton 17.6 (108) def Augusta-Margaret River 10.13 (73)

In one of the most keenly anticipated southern derbies of recent years, Busselton went a long way to securing third spot and the vital double chance when they finished over the top of their southern rivals Augusta-Margaret River at Sir Stewart Bovell Park on Saturday night.

Led by a scintillating five goal haul from Daniel McGinlay, the Magpies took the lead early in the second quarter and held the Hawks at arms length for most of the night, before kicking the final four goals of the match in a five minute burst towards the end of the final term.

HBL 18.19 (127) def Donnybrook 5.5 (35)

A big second half secured the points for Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault against Donnybrook at VC Mitchell Park .

Played in blustery conditions, poor skills cost both sides early, with neither side able too gain the upper hand before the Lions pulled away to win convincingly.
