Fox baiting starts in Bunbury
A baiting program targeting foxes near Manea Park in Bunbury is due to start tomorrow.
The Bunbury City and South West Catchments councils are warning dog owners to keep their pets on a lead to avoid consuming the poisonous baits.
The councils will be burying 1080 bait within the Bunbury Regional Airport and in bushland south of the airport between the speedway and Bunbury Regional Prison.
The bait is poisonous if ingested, so the councils have warned owners to keep dogs on leads and supervised when in reserves or public places.
The baiting program will continue until May 31.
