Gyroscope back at the Prince

South Western Times

Alternative rockers Gyroscope are back on the road and will once again grace the stage of the Prince of Wales Hotel on Thursday.

The Perth boys are firm favourites wherever they travel in their home State and have been blowing audiences away with their signature blend of explosive riffs and driving vocals for more than 15 years.

The quartet first formed in 1997 and has managed to maintain its position as a powerhouse of the Australian rock scene since first rising to prominence on the back of breakthrough album Sound Shattering Sound in 2004.

Gyroscope achieved international recognition with its third studio album Breed Obsession in 2008, which debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA charts and has since gone certified gold in Australia for selling more than 70,000 copies.

The band has been relatively quiet since releasing 2010’s Cohesion, but maintains a reputation for putting on a world class live show and should not be missed at the Prince next Thursday, May 30.

Tickets to the show are available through oztix.com.au and also at the door on the night.
