The four-year-old confronts a small field of seven but Babieca Noire, Can’t Hartley Wait and Tropical Spice add depth.

The Ross and Clint Price-trained entire warmed up for his return with a 1000m trial win over Peggies Dream at Bunbury on October 26.

The main danger will come from Babieca Noire, who has the fitness edge after three runs back this campaign.

The seven-year-old’s best return was a runner-up finish to Cassidy Cowboy at his previous outing two weeks ago.

He carries 58kg with the claim of Ben Paterson, who has the job to do from the widest gate.

Ascot’s Raquel Langridge has found the key to Tropical Spice, who has finished second, third and first in three runs for her.

She has strong claims on her last start win over Bustabill at Bunbury.

Can’t Hartley Wait will have admirers after a front-running win over Sarabi a fortnight ago.

Stable mate Raising Dubai is knocking on the door and has a great chance to prise it open from barrier one in the Stella Artois Maiden (1600m).
