Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault have won a thriller against the Collie Eagles at Brunswick Oval, winning by two points.

The Lions dominated early in the game, kicking two quick goals, but the two sides could not be separated for much of the game 5.6 (36) to 4.10 (34).

Tough conditions at Brunswick Oval meant the game was scrappy throughout and it looked as if the Eagles would win, when dominating early in the final term.

But a late goal to Lions forward Jay Walton gave the home side the lead and they held on to win in a great match.
