Man faces court over death
A man charged with dangerous driving resulting in death after a motorcycle crash which killed a 10-year-old Bunbury girl in October appeared in the Bunbury Magistrates Court today.
Paul Ramon Gelmi, a 46-year-old Waterloo man, is also charged with exceeding the 0.08 alcohol limit.
The crash occurred about 4pm on October 23 when the girl was riding on the back of an off-road motorcycle along Clifton Road in Waterloo.
The girl died at the scene and the man was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
Mr Gelmi was remanded on bail to reappear on January 12.
