Man sought after violent carjacking

South Western Times

Police have released another photograph of a man they want to talk to over a violent carjacking in Bunbury.

A 62-yar-old man was in his black 2009 Holden Commodore ute on Ocean Drive on April 30 when he was assaulted by a group of men.

They punched and dragged him from his car before stealing it.

Police believe the vehicle was later involved in a chase in Perth.

Police say a stolen 2010 Silver Ford Ranger dual cab tray back was used in the car jacking.

The photograph released today shows a man filling a car at Coles Express in Beeliar on May 1. Police believe the car is the stolen Holden Commodore ute.
