Man turns himself in after robbery

South Western Times

A Bunbury man will appear in court in June after he was charged with robbery on Tuesday afternoon.

The man, 38, allegedly stole about $300 in cash from a florist on Victoria Street in Bunbury’s CBD.

Police will allege the man entered the store about 4.30pm and demanded the money in the till.

The accused allegedly apologised as he left the store and turned himself into police that afternoon.

He was remanded in custody and will appear in court on June 5.
