Bunbury Liberal candidate Ian Morison has pledged to fight for the city to further benefit from the State Government’s $14.9 million Western Australian Meth Strategy.

Mr Morison said a Bunbury drug court, medical detox and rehabilitation centre and better education were among his priorities.

“I am determined that the multi-pronged approach to tackling the methamphetamine menace that is being taken by the State Government should especially deliver outcomes for the biggest regional city” Mr Morison said.

“From speaking to parents to what I see as a lawyer firsthand of people and their families held in the grip of methamphetamine, it is clear that Bunbury has a terrible problem.”
