Mum attacked for phone

A Carey Park woman was attacked on Monday for her iPhone.

South West District Police Supt Lawrence Panaia said the 28-year-old woman was attacked from behind in Carey Park after dropping her child off at school.

He said the offender grabbed the woman’s head and face from behind and demanded her iPhone about 10am.

She dropped the phone and the offender grabbed it and ran.

The offender is described as dark skinned, about 18 years old, large build with blond hair.

He was wearing a black T-shirt and red cap.
