North Beach give Warriors a flogging

A return home was not enough to turn around the fortunes of the NooVoh South West Warriors who lost 52-12 to the more experienced North Beach Sea Eagles in their first game of the year at the Bunbury Runner’s Club on Saturday.

The Warriors (0-5) struggled to match the intensity and class of the fourth-placed Sea Eagles (3-2) but did come away with two converted tries for their valiant efforts.

The Warriors Under-18s were beaten 40-28 by the Sea Eagles juniors while the South West’s third grade side also lost 24-10.

The North Beach women made it a clean sweep for the Sea Eagles with a 10-0 LeagueTag victory over the Warriors ladies.
