One year and going strong

Bunbury’s latest live music venture Good Nights is turning one this weekend and celebrating a year of supplying the South West with sweet tunes.

Created in August 2015 by Kelsie Miller, Good Nights has hosted 13 shows, encouraged more than 30 Australian musicians to the area and seen more than 1200 patrons attend concerts in unique pop-up venues in and around Bunbury.

Miss Miller said she was excited to be celebrating the occasion and that it was a “surreal feeling” selling out the majority of the shows and allowing songwriters to connect with audiences.

“I started off thinking I would only get to do one or two gigs and it’s just grown from strength to strength,” Miss Miler said.

“We have bookings confirmed all the way until May next year and we even had some Canadian artists look us up and want to be our first big international act.”

To celebrate their first birthday, the music promotion and event company is holding a special show at the Wild Bull Brewery on Saturday, which will be headlined by Margaret River’s Daniel White from Blue Child Collective who is launching his latest albumSaturn Saw the Seaside.
