Police investigate after man treated for gunshot wounds

South West Detectives are investigating an incident in which a man appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds to his hand and leg.

The man presented to Bunbury Hospital on Saturday morning and discharged himself before going to a Perth Hospital.

Police were informed of the man’s hospital visit and are now investigating the cause of his injuries.

Bunbury Police officer-in-charge Matt Leishman said there were no reports of shots being fired at the weekend.
