Police investigating Capel crash

A 57-year-old woman was flown to Perth after a serious incident on the Bussell Highway near Capel this afternoon.

The woman suffered a broken leg after her Ford Falcon crashed into a tree at the intersection of Bussell Highway and Spurr Street at about 4pm.

She was flown to hospital in Perth by the RAC Rescue chopper after being trapped in the car for about two hours.

South West traffic police are investigating the cause of the crash.
