A 47-year-old man has been charged with drug-related offences after two raids on Australind homes yesterday.

Police executed two search warrants in Wickham Way, Clifton Park about 8am on Wednesday where they uncovered an elaborate hydroponic set up containing four big cannabis plants and eight smaller plants.

Police also located other drugs including cannabis and amphetamines, as well as a smoking implement and cash.

The Australind man has been charged with cultivation of a prohibited plant with intent to sell/supply, two counts of possessing a prohibited drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At the second house police located smoking utensils, a small amount of cannabis and other property which was seized for inquiries.

Police will summons a 25-year-old woman in relation to drug offences.
