Police are seeking information regarding a fatal crash which occurred in Collie in February.

The crash claimed the life of a 48-year-old motorcyclist who was taken to Collie Regional Hospital after the incident, but died as a result of his injuries.

About 6pm on February 16, the driver of a white Toyota LandCruiser was doing a u-turn on Coalfields Highway near Piavanini Road before colliding with the motorcyclist riding a green Yamaha.

Major Crash Investigators are now asking anyone who may have seen the crash or saw the vehicles prior to the incident to contact police.

Police say they would like to speak to a man and woman in particular who stopped at the crash but did not leave their details with officers.

The couple were travelling west on the highway and had two small children with them.

Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
