Rain offers some relief
Rain is offering some relief for the Waroona fires, but the blaze remains out of control and unpredictable.
It began raining in Pinjarra just after 9am and rain is forecast until 5pm this afternoon.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services this morning said three people were unaccounted for in Yarloop and it appeared 95 homes had been destroyed overnight.
DFES Commissioner Wayne Gregson also said four firefighters had suffered minor injuries and an appliance was lost at Lake Clifton.
A bushfire advice warning remains for Australind, Leschenault and Eaton, asking people to stay alert and watch for signs of bushfire.
Winds are expected to continue to blow north-easterly throughout the day, pushing the fire in a south-westerly direction.
