A car believed to have been used in a ram-raid at Treendale Shopping Centre tonight has been found burnt out behind the Bunbury cemetery.

The car was found on fire by Department of Environment and Conservation officers on Richter Road a short time after the ram-raid.

The stolen black 4WD was believed to have been used to smash through Blossoms Health Food Shop at Treendale Shopping Centre around 7.20pm on today.

The offenders rammed the Westpac ATM inside the shopping centre but did not get away with any money.

Police have cordoned off the area and forensics officers will attend the scene.

There is a trail of broken glass and damage products leading from Blossoms into the interior of the shopping centre towards the damaged ATM.

Police have not confirmed how many people were involved in the ram-raid but are speaking to witnesses.

There have been no reported injuries.

Police are calling on anyone with information about the ram-raid to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
