A a program to encourage a child’s creativity through playing with recycled materials, including cardboard boxes and wood has been launched in Collie at the Child and Parent Centre.

On Thursday, June 9, the centre will host a Loose Parts Play morning from 9.30 to 11.30am at 6 Cable Street, Collie.

The program is the collaboration between WA Country Health Service and Wellington Regional Waste.

Waste Education Officer Emma Thomas said the organisation recognised an opportunity to improve waste management and child public health.
