Hay Park are looking to get their first win of the season when they face a confident Dalyellup Beach on Saturday at Dalyellup College.

The reigning premiers have lost all three of their opening matches and are desperate for a win, but Dalyellup are riding a wave of confidence after defeating Marist at Forrest Park at the weekend.

After taking three wickets in each of their first two games, the Redbacks’ bowling attack showed signs of improvement when they took eight scalps in their loss to Leschenault, but their batting line-up let them down in the run chase.

Dalyellup will be looking to their bowling attack to inflict more punishment this weekend, after leaving the Blues at 8/33 from 10 overs in their maiden win of the season.

Marist are also desperate for a rebound and will head to the Recreation Ground this weekend to take on Colts.

Marist leg spinner Brayden Clarke will be hoping his form can continue this Saturday after an impressive performance last week.

Colts will be eager for a win after Eaton beat them by nine wickets.

Batting mainstay and coach Murray Goodwin missed the weekend’s match and is expected to return to add class to an already impressive top order which includes his teenage son Jayden and captain Tim Hutchison.

Marist could look to their second grade side for some back-up, with bowling all-rounder Ben Shipley taking four wickets against Donnybrook.

The Blues are likely to be missing captain Adam Spinelli, who has a broken finger, giving left-handed batsman Kane Helyar another opportunity to impress.

Leschenault is travelling well, spearheaded by Kurt D’Agostino who has been in excellent form with the ball.

A maiden half century from Jarrod Quinn and a strong haul of wickets by Michael Newman at the weekend grabbed the Green Caps an unlikely victory and they will need a repeat the performance this Saturday when they take on the undefeated Eaton Beavers.

Leschenault must face an in-form Eaton skipper in Clint Hewson, while reigning cricketer-of-the-year James Hillery rarely fails, posting another strong half century at the weekend.

Arron Quartermaine leads a long, strong Eaton bowling line-up which is hunting scalps and desperate for victory after falling short of a grand final appearance last year.
